Environmental clearance for Kaleshwaram project

Hyderabad: The first phase of environmental clearance to the Kaleshwaram project, which is being carried out by the Telangana government, The state government has received official information from the Union Forest and Environment Department for approving the project. The Central Forest Department has issued a permit license to transfer 3,168 hectares of forest land to the project. The way is clear for the transfer of forest lands in Mahadevpur, Karimnagar, Sirisilla, Siddipeta, Yadadri, Medak, Nizamabad, Bansuvada and Nirmal.
