IPS officer jailed for cheating in UPSC, wife arrested in Hyderabad

Tue, Oct 31 : Safeer Karim, an assistant superintendent of police(IPS) of Tamil Nadu-cadre has been arrested after he was found cheating in the Union Public Service Commission (Main) Examination at a test centre in Egmore, Chennai.
His wife, Joicy Joy was also taken into Police custody for dictating answers to him by means of high technology using some software. Joicy Joy was a visiting faculty member of La Excellence IAS -The Institute for Civil Services at Ashok Nagar Crossroads in Hyderabad.
