Mahendar Reddy to be next DGP of Telangana

Sat, Nov 04 : According to official sources, Mahendar Reddy is set to become next DGP in the place of Anurag Sharma. The present DGP Anurag Sharma will be retiring from services on November 12. Presently, Mahender Reddy is serving as Hyderabad Police Commissioner. The state government took a decision in favour of Mahender Reddy even though Sudeep Lakhtakia and T Krishna Prasad were in the race for DGP post.
The government will appoint Mahender Reddy as in-charge DGP very soon. Mahender Reddy likely to be continued till the completion of 2019 elections.
