20,400 crore Yadadri thermal power plant on fast-track

Sun, Nov 05 : Telangana State-run power equipment maker BHEL company has begun execution of Rs 20,400-crore Yadadri supercritical thermal power project that has been ordered by the Telangana State Power Generation Corporation. The foundation of 4,000 MW Yadadri Supercritical Thermal Power Project was laid by State Chief Minister KCR two years back.

The project that has been accorded environmental clearance is located at Damaracherla in Nalgonda district of Telangana State. The project will be completed under the supervision of Public-Private joint collaboration.
