T Krishna Prasad IPS tops race for Telangana DGP

Hydersbad: The name of T Krishna Prasad IPS is making the rounds as the top contender, and and he is likely to be the Chief Minister’s choice, though six senior Director General rank officers are also eligible.Telangana Director General of Police Anurag Sharma retires on November 11th, at least seven names have emerged as eligible for the post. Among them, that of Krishna Prasad, 1986 batch Indian Police Officer is being considered as the next DGP. Krishna Prasad is at present posted in Railways & Road Safety. Among the others, the name of Tejdeep Kaur appeared. But she was not considered as there is a case pending against her in the court.
