Hyderabad : Police uses lathi charge, against Osmania students, who gathered before Arts College, in Osmania University agitating against the government. It is learned that Murali (21), Post Graduate student in Osmania University committed suicide in 'Maneru Hostel'.
Sources say that Murali ended his life over Koluvula Kotlata for unemployment. The protestors alleged that it was due to unemployment and blamed the government for it. They demanded that ex gratia should be paid to the family. Several students were injured. The police rounded up a few of them and took them to Nallakunta police station. Two police were also hurt in stone pelting incidents, as part of the protests.
