Kakatiya University ranked 117th in International Ranking

Warangal Urban: Kakatiya University has been ranked as the first in Telangana, fourth in India and 117th in the world as per the UI Green metric World University Ranking conducted by University of Indonesia (UI).

The UI initiated a world university ranking program to measure university campus sustainability efforts. It conducted an online survey to portray sustainability programmes and policies in universities around the world.

The ranking is based broadly on the conceptual frame work of Environment, Economy and Equity, covering the criteria like campus setting, infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste treatment, water use, transportation system and education.  KU Vice-Chancellor R Sayanna, Registrar K Purushotham and IQAC Director N Gopi Krishna expressed happiness over the ranking.
