Harish Rao asks officials to complete Mid Maneru Project as per schedule

Hyderabad : Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao has reviewed the works of the Irrigation projects in the state on Saturday.The minister has inspected the ongoing works of Mid-Maneru project.

Rao has ordered the irrigation Authorities to ensure that all civil, mechanical works and erection of crust gates on Mid-Manair project are completed before February 15.He had also asked the officials to complete the fabrication of all the 25 gates of the project and install them on a war footing.

He stressed the need to speed up the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) exercise on which the government had already spent Rs 1,200 crore so far.

Finally, he has said that the Mid-Manair project should be ready as per the schedule to give water to its ayacut from the next Kharif.
