Erstwhile Karimnagar to be supplied with Mission Bhagiratha water by Jan 30

Karimnagar: Vemula Prasanth Reddy, Vice-Chairman of Mission Bhagiratha, said that drinking water would be supplied to all habitations in erstwhile Karimnagar by January 30.

Reddy along with Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao visited raw water collection well constructed at Lower Manair Dam on Saturday. Later, they conducted review meeting with the officials of erstwhile Karimnagar district at Thimmapur to discuss the progress of the works.

Speaking on the occasion, Prasanth Reddy said 664 habitations get water from LMD. Stating that fixing of motor pumps in LMD water collection well would be completed by January 15, he said trail run for different routes would be completed by that time.

Drinking water would be supplied to 230 habitations in Manakondur constituency, 291 habitations in Husnabad, 133 in Huzurabad, 56 in Karimnagar, 108 in Peddapalli and 50 habitations in Ramagundam segment.
