Class I-XII students to study Telugu compulsorily from next academic year

Hyderabad: Dy.CM of TS, Mr. K. Sri Hari told that Telugu is being made a compulsory subject for the students of I-XII classes in Telangana State from the next academic year.

He held a review meeting at Secretariat on Monday to find ways and means to make Telugu subject easy and interesting for the students. The sub-committee submitted its report taking into consideration the model of CBSE.

Dy. CM also consulted the members about seeking legal opinion to promote language pandits and also to formulate guidelines.
