IT Minister KT Rama Rao announces GHMC canteens name as Annapurna

Hyderabad Mar 16 : Addressing the Telangana Assembly on Thursday, IT Minister KT Rama Rao raised the subject of the canteens being run for labourers.
He announced that the canteens where meals are available at Rs 5 will be named as Annapurna.Stating that the meal centres is garnering a massive response from thousands of labourers all across the city, KTR further said that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) run canteends are planning to expand further and cover more locations in the state.Even Opposition leader Jana Reddy appreciated the Rs 5 meal scheme initated by the Telangana government adding that the quality of the meals is good.
