Hyderabad: With no response from the government in the last three weeks, Osmania General Hospital doctors, nursing staff and paramedical staff protested outside the hospital demanding the construction of a new building. A one-hour protest has been planned for every day of the week to press the government for a response.

Dr P. Naik, incharge of the joint action committee formed over the issue, said, “We gave representations to all departments concerned and waited for three weeks for communication from the government about the new building, but there has been none. What is the roadmap for the development of the new building? We need to know that.”

All the stakeholders have come together and unanimously agreed that a new building must be built for the hospital as promised as the condition of the current one is poor.
