Siddipet gets Passport Seva Kendra

Siddipet: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao thanked MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy for his persistent efforts in getting a POPSK (Post Office Passport Seva Kendra) sanctioned for Siddipet town.

Rao and Reddy inaugurated the POPOSK on the premises of post office, Siddipet on Wednesday. The Minster said the MP met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Telecommunication Minister Manoj Sinha to get the passport seva kendra sanctioned to Siddipet.

The Minister  said that it would put an end to the hardships being faced by Siddipet citizens as they could get passport within 10 days after submitting application online.

Educated people were migrating to foreign countries and many other were migrating to Gulf countries in search of livelihood could obtain passport at the POPOSK.

Later, the Minister inaugurated Command and Control Room of Civil Supplies Department in Siddipet town, which is first in the districts.

CV Anand, Commissioner Civil Supplies Department, Collector P Venkatrami Reddy, Zilla Parisad Chairperson Rajmani Murali Yadav, MLC Farooq Hussian and others were present.
