Nalgonda: 1-B, the list of ownership of the lands, would be displayed at villages on March 15 in the district.

Joint Collector Dr C Narayana Reddy on Tuesday held a video conference with Revenue Divisional Officers and tahsildars to discuss the Land Records Update.

Interacting with the revenue officials, Reddy said that the land records purification drive was completed successfully in the district due to the officials’ sincere efforts. He also told the revenue officials not to leave any scope for ‘allegations’ during the last stage of the programme.

“It is time to bring a good reputation to the Revenue Department by distributing high security pattadar passbooks to all the eligible farmers,” he told the officials and directed them to display the 1-B list at all the villages, register objections if any and complete the distribution of 1-B certificates to the land owners within three days after displaying the list.

Urging officials to be careful until the distribution of passbooks to the farmers, he warned them that action would be taken against officials if they are found guilty of any malpractice or complaint regarding the works. “We might have completed 90 per cent of Aadhaar seeding works by now, but only 75 per cent of the work has been completed. There is a need to speed up the process”, he observed.

Nalgonda RDO E Venkata Chary, Devarakonda RDO B Lingya Naik, Miryalaguda RDO P Gopala Rao and mandal tahsildars also participated in the video conference.
