Warangal Master Plan Will Ready Very Soon

Telangana's  Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari held a review meeting with district administration and officials of Lea consultancy on the master plan for Warangal.And he said this must be prepared keeping in mind the needs of people two decades down the line.This plan wiil to be ready by next month. Officials of the consultancy discussed threadbare the aspects of the draft master plan through a power point presentation.

The master plan for Warangal city must be prepared keeping in mind the needs of people two decades down the line, said Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari. He held a review meeting with district administration and officials of Lea consultancy on the master plan, which is expected to be ready by next month. Officials of the consultancy discussed threadbare the aspects of the draft master plan through a power point presentation.

Mr. Srihari said the plan should be useful in the future, and take into consideration multiple transportation systems for increasing traffic and industrial corridor educational institutions. “In the 1,801 sq.km. under KUDA, the master plan must give space to the integrated development and cater to the needs of Warangal, which would be developed into a Smart City.

 A trunk terminal between Warangal and Bhoopalapatnam should be proposed. All the water bodies should be preserved. Requirements of a future airport must also be considered,” he suggested.

Warangal Urban Collector Amrapali Kata, Rural Collector M. Haritha, KUDA chairman M. Yadava Reddy, MLAs, R&B officials were present.
