Good News For Maize Farmers

Telangana's Chief Minister KCR instructed State Marketing Department on Saturday,to purchase maize produced by the farmers directly through marketing federation. The government will pay Rs 1,425 as remunerative price per quintal. The Chief Minister asked the officials concerned to open purchasing counters and buy the produce without any delay. He warned of stringent action against the brokers who exploited farmers by paying low prices.
