Elated by Mahesh Babu’s movie Bharat Ane Nenu highlighting schools looting parents in the name of fees, the Hyderabad School Parents’ Association (HSPA) thanked  the movie director Koratala Siva.

“Thanks a lot Koratala Siva sir and Mahesh Babu. You have made an incredible movie which not only highlights extremely important citizens issues in general and the school fee loot in particular, but also gives doable solutions too. Take a bow (sic),” the HSPA’s tweet said.According to the plot of the movie, the Chief Minister holds his first Cabinet meeting on school fee regulation and questions the education minister about necessary steps to be taken to regulate the school fees. He appoints a fee regulation committee and a research committee on different levels of education in other states and foreign countries.

Speaking to this newspaper, Pavan Reddy, a parent, said Mahesh Ba-bu as the Chief Minister in the movie forms the Fee Regulatory Committee, which incidentally, was a long-pending demand of HSPA. Here we have a CM in Telangana state who doesn’t even care about the school fee looting that takes place in the state.”

The HSPA members are seeking an appointment with the director  to meet and thank him for giving importance to the school fee issue.
