City Police issued notices to the management of Cinemax, Hyderabad following a decoy operation conducted by the officials at the mall.The decoy operations were carried out by Banjara Hills police on Friday morning, around 11.30 am, wherein constables bearing knife and weapons walked right in through the mall's security area.

"The mall opposite to LV Prasad Eye Institute in Banjara Hills was targeted by us for an anti- sabotage test. We sent our constables into the mall, who passed in through the gates carrying weapons from two entry points. Proper checking was done at the third entry point. But we can't say the same about the other entries," Police Inspector of Banjara Hills K. Srinivas said, adding that notices were served to the management to tighten their security.

Banjara Hills Police also did vehicle checking at road number 12 of Banjara Hills and KBR park etc in view of the upcoming Ramzan festival. "We wanted to show visible policing among the public and made sure that they know about our presence in the areas," the officials said.
