Task Force has nabbed two persons selling gutka and other banned tobacco

The Commissioner’s Task Force (East) nabbed two persons selling gutka and other banned tobacco products at Sultan Bazaar and seized material worth Rs 2 lakh from them. Action on a tip-off, the police caught C. Anjaneulu, 53, and M. Srinivas Rao, 63, for selling the banned substances to retailers.
Police said that the two had recently bought ‘RR’ brand of ‘zarda’ from an individual in Bidar. The accused were handed over to the Amberpet police for further action.
