jadcherla police arrested two men involved in repeated property offences and recovered 240 grams of gold and other ornaments, along with Rs 35,000 from them on Monday.  The arrested were identified as Ravi Kumar and his accomplice Kammari Vinod Kumar.

“Ravi had served jail time last year for property offences and was released in January. He went on to continue committing crimes by breaking into houses in Jadcherla, Bhoothpur and Pebbair mandals and stole gold and cash by breaking locks of doors in the day,” said an official, adding that Ravi would be charged under the PD Act, as this was his fourth property offence after serving  jail term. The men deposited some gold as gold loan banks and took money.
