Rahul Gandhi about internal issues within the TPCC: Sudhakar Rddy

Former Union minister S. Jaipal Reddy and Deputy Leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy met AICC president Rahul Gandhi separately on Wednesday at Delhi.

Mr Jaipal Reddy updated Mr Gandhi about the political scene in Telangana and reportedly also briefed him about the functioning of the TRS government under Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and growing resentment against the present government. Also brought under discussion was the strategy to be taken by the TPCC and Mr KCR’s proposed federal front to defeat the BJP, sources said. Meanwhile, Mr Sudhakar Reddy said he has briefed Mr Rahul Gandhi about internal issues within the TPCC. Speaking to the media, Mr Sudhakar Reddy said he told Mr Rahul Gandhi not to include people who frequently change parties.

He is also said to have advised the AICC president not to form alliances with parties that had a poor reputation among the people.
