Special Coach For Women In Hyderabad Metro

Hyderabad Metro Rail(HMR) is moving a step forward,took a decision to introduce a special coach for women,this service will starts from tomorrow(May 7). Metro trains will have a special coach dedicated to women.Even though the Metro trains are a combination of three coaches and have no compartments to separate them, the officials stated that they would earmark one coach exclusively for women.

Staff on the platforms will help commuters board the train and guide women to the ladies coach. This decision is being put in force for the safety, security reasons and also to ensure that more women opt for the metro service.Currently, the number of commuters opting for metro rail varies from 60,000 to 70,000 per day with many women opting for this service.
