HMDA has decided to hike ticket rates in major city parks

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority has decided to hike ticket rates in major city parks including Lumbini Park, NTR Garden and Sanjeevaiah Park. The hiked fares will come into effect from May 10.

The entry pass at all major parks have been hiked by Rs 5 for both children and adults. The monthly pass for morning joggers at Sanjeevaiah Park has been hiked by Rs 25.

Rates for children have been hiked from Rs 10 to Rs 15 and for adults from Rs 20 to Rs 25. Morning joggers at Sanjeevaiah park will have to pay Rs 100 instead of the earlier Rs 75. Children below five years would not be charged and the age bar at Sanjeevaiah Park for free entry of children has been raised from 10 to 12 years.
