The Common Admission Test (CAT) will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 as per the notification on i.e. http://iimcat.ac.in/. A spike in the number of candidates was seen this year, especially in the transgender category.
Around 2.31 lakh candidates have registered for the exam, and an increase of female applicants by 1.16 per cent was also noted. The results are generally released by January.
Meanwhile, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has extended the last date for online submission of applications for regular courses and B.Ed. Distance mode programme to May 15. The link for submission of applications has been reopened, however the dates for the tests i.e. May 26 and 27 stay the same.
