Police was Case Booked on Theatre Worker

A man working at a movie theatre in Pargi, Vikarabad, was booked for kidnapping and raping a minor girl on Friday.
According to the police, M. Raju, 22, who works at Bhavani Talkies, lured the 16-year-old Class X pass-out by promising her marriage and brought her to Hyderabad on May 1, following which her family lodged a kidnap case with the Pargi police.
The police traced the couple to Banjara Hills on May 4. After escorting them back to Pargi, the police recorded the statement of the victim who said she had been sexually assaulted by Raju.
He was arrested and charged with rape (IPC Section 376) and provisions of the POCSO Act.
