Muslim leaders asked the govt to ensure uninterrupted power supply

Muslim religious leaders and members of mosque committees asked the government to ensure uninterrupted power supply and organise more security at the markets during Ramzan. At a meeting on Tuesday to discuss arrangements for Ramzan, mosque committees briefed southern discom officials of their experiences.


Mr Minhaj of Hafeezbabanagar said there were frequent power outages in the area and it was a bad experience during Ramzan. Officials said they would attend to any power breakdown quickly.Hyderabad police commissioner Anjani Kumar told the meeting that adequate security arrangements were being made during Ramzan month. He urged the public to cooperate with the police and not to believe in rumours.
