All Urdu medium schools times are Changed For Ramzaan

The school education department has instructed Urdu schools to implement new timings from May 17 to June 16 during Ramzan. The schools will function from 8 am to 1.30 pm during the holy month.

A circular released by the commissioner and director of school education directed all district education officers  and principals and District Institute of Education and Training (DIETs) to implement the changed timings from May 17 to June 16 in all Urdu medium schools, Urdu medium sections of parallel medium school and Urdu medium sections of DIETs.

The DEOs were asked to ensure that school headmasters compensate the loss of working hours by working an extra day in case of upper primary schools and secondary schools. Primary schools should work an extra half-an-hour on two working days as was done last year.
