ABVP Strikes Against Corporate School's Mafia

ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) student leaders protest against corporate schools and warned on Thursday, after they received complaints from many parents that the schools were forcing them to buy books and study materials from there itself by charging around Rs 8,000 which is four times the normal price. The ABVP condemned the illegal sale of books by the corporate institutions and staged a protest by burning admission forms and raised slogans against the corporate mafia.


G. Jeevan Kumar, city joint secretary of AVBP said, “A helpless parent whose child is studying in Class VI in a corporate school located at Naryanguda revealed to us about the loot. We also found admission forms with fee ranging from Rs 60,000 to Rs 1 lakh which is against the  board of education norms. We strongly condemn frauds done by these corporate institutions.”
