The conspiracies hatched by BJP leader Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Karnataka stand exposed and no force can stop AICC president Rahul Gandhi from becoming India’s next Prime Minister, said TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy here on Saturday.

Describing the Karnataka episode a victory for democracy, Mr. Reddy thanked Mr. Rahul Gandhi for guiding party leaders and succeeding in his attempts to keep anti-democratic forces at bay. The Karnataka episode has boosted the morale of party cadre across the country, particularly in Telangana where it is poised to come to power in the next elections, he added. “The BJP tried to twist and distort rules in Goa, Meghalaya and Karnataka only to suit its needs. Its leaders only want to establish their rule at any cost throwing rules laid down by the Constitution to wind,” Mr. Reddy said.

In Karnataka, the Congress and JDS combine has the moral and Constitutional right to form the government, but the BJP leaders tried their best to deny them that. However, the Supreme Court prevailed at last.Mr. Reddy was here on Saturday to take part in a public meeting at Wardhannapet as part of his ongoing yatra. At the meeting at Wardhannapet, TPCC president gave a call to people to end TRS rule in the State as it failed to fulfil their aspirations.

Meanwhile in Nizamabad, the Congress cadres celebrated B.S. Yeddyurappa stepping down as Chief Minister in Karnataka by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.
