Telangana party chief of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) K. Laxman on Monday lashed out at the Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for their active role in ensuring the JD-S and Congress Party come together to form government in Karnataka.

“Both parties have joined the Congress tent and have become its twins. It is apparent by the manner in which logistics, transport and security was provided by them to JD-S and Congress MLAs during their camp here,” he charged at a meeting held to welcome cultural artiste ‘Jung’ Prahalad and others into the party. The fact that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and TRS leaders are going for the swearing in ceremony of Kumaraswamy-led government is proof of the role they have played in the conspiracy to deny the single largest party to form the Government. The BJP leader said the Karnataka electoral outcome has given a clear indication of the fast changing political scenario where all the regional parties are going to come together to try and halt the victorious march of the Amit Shah-Modi combine after the duo got the party to power in 21 States post the 2014 general elections.

“It is going to be BJP versus the rest and as neither the regional parties nor the Congress can single handedly take us on. The so called ‘Federal Front’ is nothing but a ‘Family Front’ as is manifested by the TRS government here which has no long term solutions to the various issues but is disbursing money to attain short-term gains,” he observed.

Mr. Laxman urged various outfits which supported the TRS during the separate State agitation to come to the BJP fold as it is the only party which is going to fight against the current regime. “TRS and Congress are bound to come together here too just like in Karnataka. So we are sure that people will look to us to deliver the State from this family rule and dynastic politics,” he said.
