Minor Scared Of 3 Men Walking With Sticks

Three persons who were found walking with sticks caused a minor scare at Jawaharnagar on Thursday night, amid rumours of gangs being on the prowl.Jawaharnagar inspector V.V. Chalapathi said a woman had spotted the three men walking with sticks in the area. She fled from there and called the police.
When police questioned the trio, it was revealed that they were returning home after a late night birthday party. The inspector said the three were drunk and were carrying sticks as they were scared after rumours of gangs moving about.Police registered a nuisance case. The woman refused to register a complaint against the three men.
