Good Friday observed in Medak Church

Medak: Marking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Church of South India- Medak Diocese observed Good Friday. Devotees from across Medak and neighbouring districts came in large numbers to attend the special prayers offered at this oldest and one of the biggest churches in Asia.Many devotees, who have been on fasting for the past 40-days, came by foot to attend the prayers. Prayers started early in the morning and went on till 3 pm after which the devotees broke their 40-days fast.
