Government is making plans to launch monorail service in Hyd

The Telangana government is making plans to launch monorail service in Hyderabad to reduce the traffic congestion on city roads. The metro rail services which began few months in Hyderabad was limited to few areas.
Officials concerned wants to run monorail between JNTU-Kukatpally and Hitech city on a pilot basis. Later, the monorail services will be introduced between Uppal and Ghatkesar via Medipally, Lingampally and Kokapet, Nanakramguda and financial district. The government keen on introducing monorail services in Hyderabad as it requires less investment compared to metro rail.
