Telugu man landed in trouble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

A man from Hyderabad landed in trouble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The family member of the man sought help from MIM MP Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi.

According to the report published in New India Express, Mr. Owaisi wrote a letter to Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).As per the details, Mir Murtaza Ali, a resident of Tadban, Kalapatha went to Khobar, Saudi to work as an Auto Cad Operator in Manto Rose Café. His salary was 3000 Saudi Riyal per month.Shahana Begum, wife of Murtaza gave the details of the contract. She said that Kafeel had promised to allow Murtaza to return home during the month of Ramadan. However, later, Kafeel said that Murtaza cannot visit home in the next two years.

Frustrated with this, Murtaza approached the Embassy. Later, he decided to throw Saudi identity card and give himself up to the police.Currently, Murtaza is held in remand of Immigration officials in Jeddah, Saudi Arabi.

Mr. Owaisi in the letter to MEA wrote that family members of Murtuza informed him that Kafeel is demanding 50,000 Saudi Riyals to release Murtuza. He requested MEA to consider the case sympathetically as the man is poor.
