TPCC removed two party leaders

The TPCC on Wednesday removed two party leaders, Mr Ch Umesh Rao and Mr Konagala Mahesh, as official spokespersons. TPCC vice-president and media incharge Mallu Ravi issued separate orders removing the two leaders. In that separate orders, Mr Ravi said the TPCC had received against them which the disciplinary action committee was examining. Mr Mahesh was also removed from the post of media convener. Mr Ch Umesh Rao is a nephew of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Mr Mahesh was an OU student.

Mr Mahesh said he had not received any communication about removing him as TPCC spokesperson. He said he had also not received any showcause notice asking for his explanation.
