Telangana becomes No. 1 state

Telangana becomes No. 1 state in terms of collection of tax revenue. CAG (Controller And Auditor General ) released a report stating that Telangana has registered highest growth rate of 17.2% in financial years starting from 2014 to 2018 topping the list of all states in India. Haryana is at second place with 14.2% while Maharashtra is at 13.9%. Andhra Pradesh is nowhere near or not in top 10 that the state achieved less than 10% growth rate. Telangana State’s growth rate 2016-17 is highest with 21.1% while in 2017-18 it is 16.8%.
