SNIST fee row :KTR to discuss with Kadiyam Srihari

Telangana's IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Saturday said that he would discuss with Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari about the fee hike row in Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST), Ghatkesar.Student and parents have been staging protests near the college opposing fee hike from Rs 97,000 to Rs 1, 37,000. While the college management has clarified that the fee prescribed by fee regulatory authority was not sufficient and hence they went to High Court, students took to streets demanding rollback of decision.

Some students had tweeted KTR continuously urging his intervention into this issue. Responding to requests IT Minister tweeted," Received number of tweets on fee hike in Sreenidhi and will discuss with Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari."
