Telugu state's Governor's wife visits handloom park

Governor E S L Narasimhan’s wife Vimala praised the Ikat design and said it brought international recognition to Pochampally in the State.She along with her daughter-in- law Divaya visited the handloom park at Kanumukkala under Pochampally mandal in the district. She expressed her satisfaction over the facilities in the parks and measures taken for the welfare of women workers.She purchased saris at Rajkumar Handloom Textiles. District Collector Anitha Ramachandran was present. Sarpanch Paka Kavitha, local Tahsildar, Dasharath Naik, Park Directors B LavaKumar, Sita Damoder, Anjaiah, Goverdhan, Revenue Inspector Rajendra Prasad and others participated.
