GHMC to conduct encroachment clearance drive on July 7

The GHMC’s Vigilance and Enforcement Wing will hold another drive to remove encroachments from footpaths on July 7.The drive will be taken up on the stretch from Rethibowli junction to Aram Ghar Junction via Atthapur and from Kukatpally BJP office to Erragadda via Moosapet. 

Town planning and engineering officials have been directed to take steps to hold the encroachment clearance drive. The deputy commissioner and assistant city planner have been directed to create awareness about the drive so that people can voluntarily remove encroachments. The enforcement wing will mark the encroachments before the drive begins.The zonal commissioner will have the debris removed within 24 hours after the drive and work to lay new footpaths will start within two days.
