Bride dies in wedding while looking at the "Arundhati Nakshatram"

In a tragic incident, a bride suffered a cardiac arrest and died just when she was looking at the ‘Arundhati Nakshatram’ along with the groom.The incident happened at Achampet town in Nagarkurnool district on Saturday, at the wedding ceremony of Venkatesh and Lakshmi. The groom belonged to Parigi mandal of Ranga Reddy district.


Even as the marriage ceremony was about to be completed, the priest asked the couple to stand up and look at the ‘Arundhati Nakshatram’ as part of the ritual. The bride could not get up and when the groom tried to lift her up, she suddenly collapsed.


She was shifted to the government hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead. With this unexpected incident, the family went into a shock.Achampet SI Parshuram told Express that based on a complaint given by the brother of the bride, they had booked a case.


“We sent the body for post-mortem to know whether she had consumed any poison to commit suicide. However, the autopsy report said that the bride died because of sudden cardiac arrest and there was nothing suspicious about the death,” the SI said.
