No helmet No petrol rule to come in the city

The Hyderabad police proposes to prevent the sale of petrol to helmetless two-wheeler riders in the city. Hyderabad Traffic DCP Babu Rao said the department was awaiting orders to implement the measure.Last week, the prisons department had made it mandatory for two-wheeler riders to wear helmets if they wanted fuel at the 13 prison-run petrol stations in the state. Mr Babu Rao said, “We are seeking orders from the High Court. A meeting will be conducted soon with petrol pump owners in the city, as we believe that this move will make a difference.”
