Warangal collectors to receive awards from Governor

Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Urban district chairman P Vijayachander Reddy said that both the district collectors of Warangal urban and rural – Amrapali Kata and M Haritha to get State-level awards for the promotion of blood donation. He said that Warangal stood second in Telangana in regard with the promotion of blood donation.


“Both the Collectors will receive the awards from Governor E S L Narasimhan at a ceremony to be held at Raj Bhavan on August 10,” he said. The IRCS functionaries – Vijayachander Reddy, EV Srinivas Rao and M Nagaiah who met both the Collectors extended invitation to attend the ceremony at Raj Bhavan next month. They also thanked the government for considering those persons suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia and sickle cell diseases as physically disabled.
