Telangana financial assistance to former Olympians and international players

Hyderabad, May 13: The Telangana government has provided monthly financial assistance to former Olympians,national and international players.

Former Olympians Mohammad Zulfakarudin, I.S.H.H. Hamid, former international player Bir Bahadur (all football) 10,000 per month.

Former international hockey player Santhanarayana, Arjuna Award Dennis Swami (boxing), international kabaddi player G Vasudev Yadav and National player AC Malisham also got Rs. 10,000 per month.

Former National Kho-Khoho player Chandra Prakash Birdar, former international Tennikoit player Sameera Begum will get Rs 7,500.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Municipal Administration and Urban Development Rama Rao On the direction of the Financial Assistance Scheme to par reintroduced.

The scheme was launched in January 2015 and implemented for one year. It came into effect from April 2017. The official announcement will be implemented for a year.
