Govt to recruit 465 degree lecturers

The Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Recruitment Board (TREI-RB) is all to set release a notification for recruitment to 465 degree lecturer posts.Speaking to press persons here on Wednesday, TREI-RB, Chairman Dr RS Praveen Kumar said the notification would be issued in a couple of days.In the next phase, physical directors, Librarians, art and craft teachers and non-teaching staff posts would be notified, he said.

He mentioned that the recruitment notification for 281 junior lecturer posts was issued on July 31. About 5,318 posts were with the Board for recruitment, of which 3,678 have been notified.

Of the total notified posts, 2,932 constitute Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT).

The last date to apply is August 8 for TGT and PGT posts.“The examination will be held in October and the first batch of teachers will be deployed in the same month,” Praveen Kumar said.
