A man fired a gun at his pregnant wife in Karimnagar district on Friday night. The victim, Swapna was immediately shifted to a government hospital in Karimnagar and later to a private hospital for better treatment. Her condition is said to be critical.The incident took place in Ramakrishna Colony of Thimmapur Mandal in Karimnagar district.
According to the police, the accused, Kanakaiah fired the gun at his wife over an argument on dowry. The couple who work on a business in Nepal returned home after six months. Kanakaiah informed to the police that he found a gun in an abandoned location in Nepal.A case has been registered in this regard.
