Cylinder exploded,3 members of family dies

Three members of a family were charred to death in a fire mishap caused due to the blast of a cylinder at the Kantathmakur village of Damera mandal in the Warngal district on Sunday night.The deceased were identified as Mamidi Rajamma (67), her son Kumara Swamy (44) and Kumara Swamy’s second wife Sujatha alias Chandrasena (40).Though the exact reason for the mishap is yet to be ascertained, the police suspect sabotage in the case as Kumara Swamy had disputes with his first wife and children, who are living in Hanamkonda.

One another member, Mamidi Lingaiah (75), who sustained injuries, was shifted to MGM hospital in Warangal for the treatment. Local MLA Challa Dharma Reddy visited the spot and inquired about the incident. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
