Girl from Suryapet selected for international scholarship

Gunda Spandana, a student from Suryapet town, was selected for Great Scholarship of British Council for pursuing Masters in Law from Liverpool John Moores University. She was one of the three students, who were selected for meritorious scholarship from the country.She received the communication from the director of international relations, Liverpool John Moores University, about her selection. She is the daughter of Gunda Harinarayana and Lakshmi, both natives of Suryapet town. 

Spandana will get Rs 13 lakh as the scholarship to complete LLM in the university. She completed LLB from Symbiosis College at Noida and has been working as practising advocate in the Supreme Court at New Delhi for the last two years. Speaking to Telangana Today, Spandana expressed happiness for being selected for the scholarship programme for 2018.
