Loksatta writes letter to governor to take action on escort police

Karimnagar: Loksatta Udyama Samstha wanted the Governor ESL Narasimhan to take action against escort police, who allowed tainted cop Bobbala Mohan Reddy to meet his relatives and family members in hotel illegally.In this regard, Loksatta wrote a letter to the Governor on Wednesday. In the letter, it said Mohan Reddy, who was arrested in connection with illegal money lending case, has been shifted to Warangal jail as he had indulged in make illegal settlements in the jailer’s office of Karimangar district prison. 


The then jail superintendent, Shivakumar has also been transferred to Mahabubnagar on the allegation of cooperating with tainted cop.On March 29, Mohan Reddy was allowed to meet his family members illegally by the escort police in a hotel located in front of the district court. Again on August 1, he had reportedly met his friends and relatives in a private hotel in Karimangar.


The visuals of Mohan Reddy getting into a luxury car had went viral. Despite all these, police department has not taken any action against concerned escort police.Loksatta requested the governemnt to instruct concern officials and save the reputation and image of the government.
