Warangal: IAS AmrapaliKatta, advised the youth community to succeed in interviews by telling lies. These remarks were made by her during a job mela. While recently she has been in the news headlines for buying a whopping 300 Baahubali tickets for employees.

“Everyone should tell lies during interviews. You won't fetch jobs if you are truthful to the interviewer. I told this in the previous job mela and I am telling now," she said, as she was addressing the youth in a job mela held in the city on Thursday morning. So, according to her the key to success in interviews is telling lies.

Contradicting to remarks made by Ms. Amrapali, the Warangal Urban Collector said that with regard to academics, the interviewee must be cautious and should not tell lies at all. And in the same tone Telangana Deputy Cheif Minister KadiamSrihari asserted that honesty is the only key to success in interviews, come what may. Because there are many companies who do background verification directly or through third parties and if the employee if found to have furnished wrong information, it will be a bad remark on him for this job as well as for future career.
