HC takes up case of poet Sri-Sri's damaged statue

The Hyderabad High Court on Monday took up the issue of the dilapidated condition of the statue of revolutionary poet Srirangam Srinivasa Rao at Tank Bund suo motu as a PIL.Justice U. Durga Prasada Rao had written a letter to the Chief Justice referring to reports with regard to the dilapidated condition of the statue requesting to take up the issue as a PIL and issue appropriate direction to the authorities to protect it.
